Caleb Milligan (William Ash) is once again back in the Dingles’ bad book in Emmerdale.

Shortly after he first arrived in the village, the relationships with his biological family were destroyed thanks to Kim Tate (Claire King) exposing Caleb’s plan to destroy her, Home Farm and Moira’s (Natalie J Robb) farm as well.

Being accepted back into the clan lasted all of five minutes for Caleb, as he decided to go and make another mistake by sleeping with Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh), the wife of his nephew Nate (Jurell Carter).

When Ruby (Beth Cordingly) revealed the affair in spectacular fashion, Caleb was thrown out of the family once again and this time, he’s struggling to get his foot back in the door.

In upcoming episodes Nate becomes the focus of Ruby’s anger and sparks fly. Previously there hasn’t been bad feeling between Ruby and Nate because, like Ruby, he’s one of the people who’s been hurt by Caleb and Tracy’s affair.

Actress Beth described what happens to sour things between them.

‘It comes from Nate first. Nate’s in a bad mood, understandably cross at the world and he says some stuff to Ruby and Nicky (Lewis Cope).

‘He actually is rude to Nicky and he starts saying, “You two just do anything that Caleb asks you to” and says Ruby’s a little lapdog and does a little impression of “Here doggy, here doggy” and all this, which p****s her off. Then he’s rude to Nicky and brings up his past with what Caleb made him do to Gabby.’

Suffice to say that Ruby’s arrival to the Dales has seriously impacted how the Dingles view Caleb. Ruby is someone who isn’t afraid to say what she thinks and more often than not, that causes a great deal of trouble.

After a comment from Ruby where she reminded Caleb that he often ends up getting what he wants, will he really win back the Dingle clan after so many betrayals and lies?

If he’s completely ostracised from the family he searched and longed for, will Caleb have no other option but to leave?
