Who k.i.l.l.e.d Anthony in Emmerdale? Fans hooked by whodunnit as they ‘work out’ who the m.u.r.d.e.r.e.r is
Anthony was shown d.e.a.d at the end of tonight's episode, as viewers rush to figure out who was responsible
Emmerdale fans are desperate to work out who k.i.l.l.e.d Anthony after he was shown d.e.a.d at the end of the latest episode.
The episode began with Ruby and Caleb reunited after Caleb discovered that Anthony had abused Ruby as a child and was the father of Steph. Steph was not happy to see the pair reunited, and with Anthony missing, marched out to find him.
Anthony woke up in the B&B following a heavy night of drinking and left, running into Steph and telling her he had to go do tutoring for Angelica. Nicola left Anthony and Angelica alone as she had to work, only to run into Chas who warned her about Anthony.
Nicola rushed home and told Angelica to leave, while she demanded that Anthony leaves too. Anthony became enraged once Nicola told him that she had heard he was a danger to children, and attacked her, only to be hit over the head by Laurel.
Anthony got up and threatened the pair with the police before marching out, running into Ruby. The pair exchanged threats before Aaron appeared to ask what was happening. While no one told him the truth, Aaron was definitely suspicious of the interaction.
Meanwhile, Chas told Cain the truth about Anthony, to his shock. At the end of the episode, Caleb demanded that Anthony got in his car, with fans spotting him hiding a gun, before the episode flashed forward to show Anthony dead on the floor. Now fans are trying to work out who was responsible.
Many believe it was Caleb, with @SARamsay1 saying: “I don’t actually agree with Caleb k.i.l.l.i.n.g Anthony; it doesn’t change what he did to Ruby or make it any better! Also, if he went down for it, that wouldn’t be much good for Ruby either”.
@daisy_duguid added: “Caleb should have taken Anthony straight to the police, by k.i.l.l.i.n.g him he’s got away with what he’s done to Ruby”.
Others thought someone like Aaron may have been the one to k.i.l.l him. @topgooner100 wrote: “Got what he deserved Pervert Soooo Whodunnit??? Hope it’s Caleb & not someone like Aaron”. @Ralph_Hapschatt said: “Did Aaron hear her say that Anthony is Steph’s father?”

More fans predicted the return of past characters to k.i.l.l Anthony, such as Nicky, with @chelseasandrax writing: “i’d love if there was a twist and it was actually nicky who came back and attacked anthony!”
A number of other fans even thought Steph may have been the one to do it. @blue_laur11 added: “What if the person who’s m.u.r.d.e.r.e.d Anthony was Steph? She’s probably heard that he used to abuse Ruby when she was younger and Steph has probably heard that Anthony is her father and not Caleb ??”
