Emmerdale viewers believe they’ve figured out Kim Tate’s cunning plan for Joe. Kim, played by Claire King, has had a tough time in the Dales recently.
Over Christmas, her husband Will Taylor, portrayed by Dean Andrews, suffered a heart attack and passed away. His d.e.a.t.h came shortly after it was revealed he was involved in a plot to bring her down – a scheme masterminded by Joe, played by Ned Porteous, who made a surprise return to the village.
Following Will’s d.e.a.t.h, Kim was left devastated, while Will’s daughter Dawn, played by Olivia Bromley, was convinced Kim was somehow involved in his demise – even going as far as d.r.u.g.g.i.n.g her in an attempt to extract a confession.
Luckily, Kim recovered and forgave Dawn, allowing her to move back into Home Farm and hiring her to assist with her business empire.

Meanwhile, Joe has been playing the caring step-grandson, looking after Kim. However, viewers were taken aback when Dawn and Joe began a surprise affair. It started with a kiss last week, and on Wednesday’s episode (January 22), the pair slept together.
Furthermore, amidst Joe’s affair with Dawn, it’s evident he’s unwell and concealing a significant health issue, often seen in pain and taking m.e.d.i.c.a.t.i.o.n, reports Leicestershire Live. But, during Thursday’s episode (January 23), the soap unveiled a significant Kim revelation – and fans are thrilled she’s returned to her scheming ways.

In a juicy Emmerdale plot twist, Kim Tate turned into a sneaky snoop as she slipped into Joe’s room and cunningly hid a recording device behind his dresser. Later, viewers caught her eavesdropping on a secret convo Joe had over the phone, chatting about some health woes.
Now, the show’s die-hard fans reckon they’ve cracked Kim’s next move – and it’s bad news for Joe. Chatter has exploded on an Emmerdale Facebook fan group, with one sleuth declaring: “Good old Kim is back then.”
Another chimed in with: “She knows about him and Dawn. She’s very clever throwing them together.” A third couldn’t contain their excitement: “Can’t wait to watch Kim ruin Joe and Dawn.” And yet another fan praised Kim’s cunning: “I knew Kim wasn’t daft, go on Kim.”
