Former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher returned to screens this weekend with an appearance on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.
The 41-year-old was joined by his wife Liz Marsland to discuss their show, Fletchers’ Family Farm. The couple, along with their four children, Marnie, seven, Milo, four, and two-year-old twin boys Mateusz and Maximus, moved to a 120 acre farm in the Peak District in 2022.
Kelvin and Liz first crossed paths when they were eight before reconnecting romantically in 2009. They tied the knot in 2015, with Kelvin openly admitting he knew she was “the one” from early on.
However, their relationship wasn’t without its struggles. The couple had previously split because Liz battled with the constant attention Kelvin received from his fans due to his role on Emmerdale.

He starred as Andy Sugden for 20 years between 1996 and 2016.
A source previously told The Sun: “Liz has always been jealous of the attention Kelvin receives. He is always getting stopped by girls wanting his autograph when he’s on nights out.
“Kelvin assures her nothing goes on, but over the years, it has worn her down and she decided that she just couldn’t continue seeing him.”
However, the pair reunited not long after their split. Discussing how they overcame Liz’s concerns, Kelvin explained: “I do ring her up and say, ‘I’m kissing so-and-so today’ and make a joke about it.
“That’s how we deal with it. But Liz won’t watch the show because she gets too jealous. To me, though, it’s just work.”

Liz, who is also an actress, said: “Over the next few weeks and months we’re going to be sharing with you and the viewers a bit of an exclusive insight into our life on the farm. It’s going to be an exciting few months with you guys.”
Reflecting on raising their children in such a unique environment, Liz remarked: “The kids are all at different ages so Marnie and Milo are definitely a help, the twins are an absolute liability.
Kelvin chimed in with his perspective: “I think the best thing about having the kids for me is their understanding of the responsibility you have with a farm and the privilege it is. Understanding where our food comes from the hard work, the ups and downs.”
