Emmerdale fans are convinced that Cain Dingle is going to have a second affair in the village - but they think it might be with an unexpected villager
Emmerdale viewers are speculating a surprise affair between Cain Dingle and an unlikely villager.
Cain, portrayed by Jeff Hordley, has been a central figure in the village since 2000, involved in numerous dramatic storylines as part of the renowned Dingle family. His history in the Dales is filled with scandal and intrigue, including affairs and even m.u.r.d.e.r.
Last year, viewers were taken aback when Cain had a one-night stand with Ruby Fox-Miligan, played by Beth Cordingly. At that time, Cain’s wife Moira (Natalie J.
Robb) was undergoing surgery for a brain tumour, while Ruby was dealing with the reappearance of her estranged father Anthony Fox (Anthony Fox).
It later transpired that Anthony had abused Ruby during her teenage years and was the father of her daughter Steph (Georgia Jay). Since their unexpected encounter, Ruby and Cain have been grappling with guilt and attempting to keep their secret hidden, reports Leicestershire Live.
However, Anthony discovered their secret, leading to a tense confrontation where he revealed the truth to Caleb. . While Caleb has remained silent about the affair, fans believe he trusts Anthony’s words and is plotting revenge against Cain.
Yet, amid these challenging times for Cain, some viewers predict he’s on the verge of starting a new romantic liaison in the village – with a character no one would anticipate.
Emmerdale fans are buzzing with speculation over Cain’s loyalty to Moira, with musings aired on a dedicated Facebook fan page. “Will Cain cheat on Moira again? ” pondered one member of the group, sparking a flurry of guesses and theories.
A fellow soap enthusiast chimed in with a reminder of Cain’s history: “We thought Cain wasn’t the cheating type until his one-night stand with Ruby, so probably! “.
