BBC EastEnders fans rumble true identity of Cindy’s attacker after confession in huge twist

EastEnders confirmed who threatened Cindy Beale in a shock admission tonight – but fans are predicting a twist.

The BBC soap aired some huge scenes this evening when it was confirmed who had threw a brick through the window. Gina Knight admitted it was her who had thrown the brick, which contained a note which said she should have stayed dead.

Cindy moved back in with her partner Ian after all that had happened. However, Anna has been growing suspicious of her sister after seeing Gina rushing off for another meeting with Harry. Later, Anna confronted Harry about what was going on between her sister and him, but he denied anything untoward and when she was gone, made a phone call to a mystery person.

Junior watched on as Gina met with Harry and he was seen demanding money off her. As they rushed back to the pub, Junior told everyone it was Gina who threw the brick, and he also assumed it was her who attacked Cindy.

However, fans of the BBC soap are convinced it is a red herring – and there’s more to be said of Harry and Gina’s link.

One fan wrote: “Gina paying Harry to throw the brick? I believe. Gina attacking Cindy? Debatable,” whilst a second added: “Well, I don’t believe Gina did it. I was thinking Harry was supplying her d.r.u.g.s, but she went to Ravi last time.”

“Nah it’s not Gina. She’s covering for someone, probably Kojo,” a third wrote, with a fourth adding: “Haven’t even seen it yet as was in a rush for work but of course Gina didn’t do it.” A fifth penned: “Gina was getting blackmailed cause she threw a brick through the window, thought Harry was going to be her dealer.”

However, fans are now calling for Harry and Gina to be together. One wrote: “Harry and Gina would definitely suit each other I feel like we need new couples all the old ones always get back together,” whilst another added: “I would still pair Gina and Harry together, think they suit as characters and could be an interesting dynamic if explored.”

Just last week, the shovel used to attack Cindy was found in the pub, fuelling speculation on who the person was.

Taking to Reddit at the time, fans discussed the big storyline – with one writing: “My theory is either one person whacked her and several others came across that person at the time and they’ve agreed to keep shtum as nobody likes Cindy or one person whacked unwitnessed but following the attack many people encountered her lying there and left her for d.e.a.d, so they’re acting suspicious because really they should have called an ambulance.”
