ITV Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ John Sugden’s ‘next victim’ in sinister twist
John Sugden is taking drastic action to cover up Anthony Fox's m.u.r.d.e.r
Emmerdale has aired more suspicious scenes revolving around John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) as he continues to cover up the m.u.r.d.e.r of Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day).
Last week, Anthony was k.i.l.l.e.d at Caleb Miligan’s (William Ash) depot after he was exposed as a s.e.x abuser and had raped Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) when she was a child.
It was Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) who recognised the signs in Ruby’s anguish and headed to find Anthony to ensure he handed himself into the police. While in the depot, Aaron told Anthony that his own father had s.e.x.u.a.l.l.y abused him when he was a child, but the evil man ended his life in prison.
As Anthony feared he would spend the rest of his life in prison, he suddenly changed his emotional tone and wound Aaron up until he beat him. When Aaron left a b.l.o.o.d.i.e.d Anthony he was still alive, but when he returned later with John Sugden – Anthony was dead.
As Aaron panicked, his partner took control of the situation and removed the man’s body from the floor.
The next day, Aaron continued to feel overwhelmed with his guilt. Behind the pub, as he wondered what they’d do with Anthony’s car and John snapped at his boyfriend in a way viewers have not seen before.
On Monday (January 27), John continued to act shady and suggested they stripped Anthony’s car to make it look like he had left the village, but Aaron was apprehensive about his partners decisions.
Emmerdale fans have been predicting John delivered the final blow to Anthony and killed him, and Aaron will be his next victim. Taking to X, one person wrote: “I have a feeling Aaron is being set up somehow by John Sugden , something really dodgy about him. Poor Aaron #emmerdale.”
A second asked: “Is John setting up Aaron for something? #emmerdale”. A third chimed in: “Jesus wept John is the biggest red flag ever #Emmerdale.”
“But John is acting VERY weird #Emmerdale”, added one viewer while another stated: “I am DONE with the evil John ‘Sugden’ #Emmerdale.” Meanwhile another predicted: “John is the next serial killer methinks. Bet his name isn’t even John! #Emmerdale.”
