ITV Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle’s downfall ‘sealed’ after huge ‘mistake’

Emmerdale's Aaron Dingle could 'be in trouble' as one resident seemingly spotted himself and John Sugden leaving the garage at night after 'covering up Anthony's d.e.a.t.h'

Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle has been struggling amid Anthony Fox’s death after leaving him for d.e.a.d.

Last week, viewers saw Aaron Dingle confront villain Anthony about what he had done to Ruby and things went from bad to worse when Aaron saw red, leaving Anthony battered and bruised. Fearing he’d k.i.l.l.e.d him, Aaron requested help from John Sugden.

Previously, the pair were seen trying to make it look like Anthony had left the village by taking his car to Cain Dingle’s garage. On Tuesday night’s episode, John was seen convincing Aaron they were ‘in the clear’ but there’s someone the pair didn’t notice…

Aaron thinks he k.i.l.l.e.d Anthony

At the end of the episode, Aaron and John were seen in the garage late at night after Aaron made sure to get rid of anything that was left in Anthony’s car. “Just need to get the chassis crushed tonight and then we’re done,” Aaron said, as John was confident all was well. “You get rid of that that thing and we are spotless. Nothing to connect us to anything. Home and dry,” he said.

However, when the pair went to leave, viewers saw a suspicious and confused Manpreet Sharma looking out the window due to the noise. It’s unclear whether she saw the pair, for now, but it hints she could be causing big trouble for them in the future. Despite this drama in the Dales fans are convinced that Aaron didn’t actually k.i.l.l Anthony, and that someone else wielded the fatal blow.

“Ffs Aaron better not be sent down for this I think someone else did it,” said one on X, formerly known as Twitter, while a second said: “Someone came and finished Anthony off. Not believing it was all Aaron’s doing.”

Last week, Beth Cordingly, who plays the role of Ruby Fox-Miligan in the ITV soap took to Instagram to pay tribute to her co-star Nicholas Day after his character Anthony Fox filmed his final scenes.

Sharing some BTS scenes of herself and Nicholas, Beth penned: “In case anyone is under any illusions I just want to stress what a beautiful man Nick Day is, in real life,” she began in the lengthy caption. “ We were very lucky to have an actor of his calibre and talent playing my father, Anthony, in @emmerdale . It wasn’t an easy role for anyone to take on and he found playing this person extremely challenging,” she wrote before asking fans to ‘be kind’ if they see him out and about.

“I loved working with Nick, we all did. It was an emotional experience requiring a lot of trust and a lot of love. He’s a gem. If you see him in the street please remember he’s NOT Anthony. I’m sure you all will – so forgive me for sounding patronising – I just wanted to say. Sometimes, as actors, we need a little bit of protection whe

n we put ourselves out there telling difficult stories that need to be told.”
