ITV Emmerdale fans say ‘fate sealed’ for Anthony’s k.i.l.l.e.r after villager shows ‘unique ability’
Will Manpreet land herself in trouble for overhearing John and Aaron?
ITV Emmerdale fans fear Manpreet is going to put herself in the firing line of ‘psycho’ John after she overhears him and Aaron talking about the next steps of covering up their tracks in k.i.l.l.i.n.g Anthony.
In Tuesday night’s episode of Emmerdale, fans discussed what they saw and were shocked after Manpreet caught the pair alone at the garage discussing something secretive. @AngeBlue55 said: “Manpreet must have supersonic hearing if she heard that. The windows closed #Emmerdale Manpreet is going to put herself in the firing line of psycho John.” @wibster1979 agrees and jokes: “Manpreet and her advanced hearing abilities #Emmerdale” @Mel_Navan adds: “As if Manpreet heard that #emmerdale.”
Steph, continuing the search for Anthony, seems to be the only villager concerned for his whereabouts. After not getting any closer to finding out why he would leave without saying goodbye, she corners Chas to ask if she saw him pick up his car after leaving it at the pub. But instead of getting answers, she is told by Chas to ‘put love into someone who deserves it’ and not blame herself for him disappearing, leaving her confused and she then storms off.
Chas, feeling guilty, later goes to Ruby to check in but also admit to what she told Nicola. Angered by what Chas said, she tells her to lie to Nicola and say what she said wasn’t true. Chas finds Nicola and Laurel who are shocked to hear that what she accused Anthony of wasn’t factually correct and making the pair worry they accused him of it when tutoring Angel and instigating the attack.
Meanwhile, making sure nothing is left to chance and people wont be able to trace him and Aaron back to Anthony’s body, John comes up with a ‘ruse’ to turn up at the depot to find out why a policeman is there after Aaron overheard Jai mention it earlier that day in the street.
As John is pretending to look around the factory, he finds Anthony’s tooth under a cabinet but just as he tries to get it – the police officer steps out of Jai’s office. Just before the officer begins to investigate and question staff about the ‘missing £200’, Caleb turns up and admits that he took the cash without telling Jai. Jai is then told off for ‘wasting police time’ – much to John’s delight – as the police officer leaves.
He later sees that Kerry has picked up the tooth via a vacuum cleaner – he tells Aaron outside the garage that they only need to get rid of the car. However, they are not alone as Manpreet is seen at the window watching the pair.
