Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ child kidnap horror twist – and Moira will be devastated

Emmerdale viewers are forecasting a shocking baby abduction plot that could shake the village to its core.
The beloved ITV soap has been a mainstay on our screens for over five decades, having first aired in 1972. It has consistently captivated audiences with its impactful narratives and memorable characters.
Emmerdale has broadcast several groundbreaking and captivating storylines over the years, from illicit affairs to chilling murders, there’s seldom a dull moment in the Dales. However, according to fans, the long-standing soap could be about to unveil a baby kidnap storyline that will undoubtedly send shockwaves through the village.
This week in the village, Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) assisted in caring for Tracy Metcalfe’s (Amy Walsh) daughter, Frankie, alongside Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson). Surprisingly, Amy found herself feeling broody, even requesting to care for Frankie again the next day.
As viewers will remember, Amy is already a mother to Kyle, whom she gave birth to at the age of 17. Kyle was subsequently adopted by Tom and Karen Winchester before his biological father Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) was awarded full custody, reports Leicestershire Live. Currently, Kyle resides with Cain, his wife Moira, and their son Issac. Amy has also been back in his life since 2019, much to her joy.
In Tuesday’s episode (January 28), Amy shared her desire to have another child with her mother-in-law Moira, leaving her equally surprised. However, in what could be a devastating turn of events, fans are predicting a baby kidnap storyline involving Amy.
A concerned Emmerdale fan speculated on a Facebook fan page that Amy might resort to drastic measures to become a mother, writing: “I have a feeling they are going down the route where Amy ends up kidnapping a child. I really hope not.”
This sparked a discussion, with another fan suggesting potential targets: “I thought Tracy’s child perhaps but what about Kyle or Isaac? ” A third fan echoed the concern: “I was thinking that as well.”
Meanwhile, in an upcoming episode, Amy reveals her desire for a child to Matty, floating the idea of adoption, but Matty is caught off guard and needs time to consider the proposal, leaving Amy to anxiously await his response.
