Emmerdale fans have been left terrified for Belle Dingle after Tom King’s concerning behaviour tonight.

Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is set to marry the love of her life Tom King (James Chase) next week, and both of them couldn’t be happier about it. Tonight, the pair had a ‘sten’ do – a joint stag and hen do but soon Mandy Dingle whisked Belle away for a proper girly night in, where they presented her with a ‘hunked up’ cardboard cut out version of her husband-to-be.

They later returned back to the Woolpack, where Tom was very drunk. He jumped up on the bar and declared his love for Belle, leaving everyone thrilled to see them so loved up, as they headed home together.

However, once back, Belle sat down with Tom to tell her about her night, when she revealed they had been teasing her about the bad luck that the couple might have, given that Tom had seen the dress earlier in the day.

Tom was quick to tell Belle the dress was cheap and told her he’d spend any money she wanted on a new one. Whilst the second half of the comment might have seemed sweet, fans were left horrified about Tom’s comment and worried for Belle in scenes to come.

One wrote: “I’m worried for Belle already & she’s not married yet! Tom’s not just marrying her….he’s marrying the whole Dingle clan so he’d better treat her with respect or else #Emmerdale,” whilst a second added: “Everyone is escaping from Tom – take the hint Belle.” A third shared: “Anyone find Tom odd? Like he’s going to treat Belle badly or something? I dunno, something seems really off about him for sure. #Emmerdale,” with a fourth writing: “Belle deserves sooo much better than Tom #Emmerdale.”

Eden previously admitted Belle is “turning a blind eye” to Tom’s odd behaviour amid the wedding and them taking their relationship to the next level, with fans growing concerned for Belle and what will happen to her.

“We have witnessed his controlling behaviour but I think Belle herself is just turning a blind eye to all that at the moment under the assumption he’s just doing it all out of love. All the Dingles seem to like Tom. But of course they haven’t seen that other side of Tom when he tries to control things. The audience saw it when we did the 12 Angry Dingles. So to the Dingles he is a great guy,” she said.

It happens again next week, when Tom storms off after Belle admits she’s worried about the wedding because her parents won’t be there. Tom then reminds her his parents won’t be there and storms off, leaving her fearful they might not get married at all.
