When Will Zatima Season 4 Premiere? Here’s What I Know!

A question I’ve been getting every single day since the last two episodes of Zatima Season 3 dropped on BET+ last week is:
👉 “When is Season 4 coming?”
Honestly, I have no idea! I can’t say for sure when the production team will release Season 4. But let me put it this way:
Even though my feelings about Zatima Season 3 are mixed, the final two episodes were so good that they got me excited for Season 4. That said, I’m not in a rush—I think we’ll probably have to wait until late summer or early fall this year.
Will Season 4 Have a Long Delay Like Season 3?
I don’t think Zatima will have as long of a break as the one between Seasons 2 and 3. If I remember correctly, that hiatus was pretty long. Let’s check the dates:
- Season 2 ended: September 21, 2023
- Season 3 began: October 3, 2024
That’s almost a year! But I don’t think Season 4 will take that long to arrive.
Why Was Season 3 Delayed for So Long?
A big factor was the writers’ and actors’ strikes in 2023. However, I don’t think that was the only reason.
From what I recall:
- Zatima Season 3 was filmed in late 2023 or early 2024.
- Zatima Season 4 was filmed around June or July 2024.
Why the Delay Even After Filming?
Tyler Perry has a lot of projects. During the strikes, major studios had no new content to release, but Tyler Perry had a massive backlog of pre-filmed shows, allowing him to keep releasing content.
So why did Zatima take so long to come out? Your guess is as good as mine! But based on past trends, I predict Season 4 will premiere in September or October 2025.
Predicting Zatima’s Release Based on Past Patterns
I’ve been following Zatima’s release schedule, and I’ve noticed that around late August, we usually get some kind of teaser or promo.
For example, my birthday is on August 29, and I’ve often seen a Zatima teaser drop around that time. So, based on this pattern, I believe we’ll see Season 4 later this year.
Updates on Other Tyler Perry Shows
While we wait for Zatima, here’s what I know about other Tyler Perry projects:
- Sistas: Season 8 wraps up in late March. Season 9 starts filming on March 24, so we likely won’t see it until late summer.
- The Oval: Season 6B and Season 7 are already filmed.
- Ruthless: The new season has already been filmed.
- Bruh: The show is canceled—I have no idea if it will ever return.
- All The Queen’s Men: I don’t follow this show, so I’m not sure about its production status.
Final Thoughts: Zatima Will Likely Return Late This Year!
So, my best guess is that Zatima Season 4 will return in late 2025.
