Emmerdale will see a wedding in the Dales next week, but will things turn out as planned and what happens when the reception is ruined by an affair bombshell
Emmerdale will air some worrying wedding scenes next week on the ITV soap – whilst an affair is set to be exposed.
Things have been going better and better for Belle Dingle and Tom King ahead of their big day, but they have agreed to scale back their wedding next week as they’re worried about being insensitive to the loss of Heath Hope and the immediate future for Angelica King. They’re adamant that all they care about is telling the world they love each other, but is it all as it seems?
Elsewhere, a love triangle starts to form in the Dales and Caleb and Tracy’s affair is finally exposed, but what will happen when everyone finds out Caleb has betrayed the Dingles – and his brother Cain – once again?
Tom and Belle finally get married
Worrying wedding scenes
Next week on Emmerdale, things don’t start too well for the couple as Tom is left reeling when Belle says she doesn’t want to take his surname. Despite her offering a reasonable explanation for it, he finds it difficult to understand and Belle eventually concedes to take his surname as he wanted as they prepare for the big day – but will it go off without a hitch?
Belle feels emotional as she prepares to tie the knot with Tom, and is feeling awful over the fact her parents aren’t going to be there. She considers cancelling the wedding, leaving Tom horrified, before he reminds her that his parents would be there either. He storms off, leaving Belle unsure what to do and if the wedding will even go ahead.
Tom texts Belle to say the wedding is on, and she’s finally able to enjoy her wedding day. They all prepare for the wedding outside the church, whilst Sam arrives to give Belle away, bringing with him a letter from Lisa. As the wedding gets underway, Tom isn’t impressed by the Dingles’ oddities and finally they eventually tie the knot.
Ruby’s ready to cause chaos
They head to celebrate the wedding, and mark the occasion in typical Dingle style, but Tom isn’t impressed. Ruby soon interrupts the reception and chaos breaks loose, with Tom furious that his and Belle’s day has been ruined.
Caleb and Tracy’s affair exposed
Ruby is ready for revenge next week on Emmerdale and soon chaos ensues. Tracy is feeling hurt to see Caleb and Ruby out together, but she tries to pretend she doesn’t care. Ruby wants Caleb back and asks their son Nicky on how she can win Caleb back.
Elsewhere, Ruby sees Caleb and Tracy chatting and is full of jealously, adamant she’s going to cause trouble. As she heads to the wedding reception, she wants to make things awkward and soon interrupts it all to reveal Tracy and Caleb’s affair. With all the Dingles there to celebrate Belle’s big day, how will they react when the news is revealed?
A love triangle looms
Ella – played by former Coronation Street star Paula Lane – settles into work at the surgery and it’s not long before Wendy notices there’s a spark between the pair. With Liam having most recently been with Chas, is a love triangle looming for the trio?
She revealed recently: “There’s already been a relationship going on there at the minute in the surgery. So I don’t know. There might be some fireworks, there’s a little bit of competition, perhaps. Little love triangle going on. But behind closed doors, who knows what can happen. So there’s a brand new set that we’re actually building, surgery is going to be on Main Street. And that’s when all this character will kind of come in, I’m going to be at the heart of the village, working out the new surgery.”
