“The Oval” Sneak Peek: Jason Faces the Truth?

“Ask your father where you were kept. Ask him the name of the guy that was keeping you. Ask him how you got away. Ask him who he sent to save you. That was all me.”

“You’re lying!”

“Ask him!”

Jason isn’t buying it. “No, you’re lying. You and my mother have been up to something. She tried to kill me in the hospital!”

Alright, Oval fans! You just saw the sneak peek for tonight’s new episode. Technically, there are two previews, but this is the first official one released by The Oval platforms.

In this clip, Eli is desperately trying to get Jason to side with him. Hunter asks, “Jason, what do you want to do?” and then lays out his plan for the press conference. He intends to expose Eli and Victoria’s schemes—how they tried to overthrow the administration, attempted to kill his father, and even targeted Jason himself in the hospital.

At this moment, Eli makes a bold claim: He was the one who saved Jason.

He demands that Jason ask his father:

• Who was really watching over him?
• Who got him out of the hospital?
• Who hid him away?

Eli insists it wasn’t Hunter. “I have footage to prove that things aren’t what you think they are,” he tells Jason.

But Hunter, ever smug, dismisses Eli’s words. He taunts, “It doesn’t matter what footage you have—not where you’re going.”

If I remember correctly, wasn’t there a whole storyline about Eli and Simone saying, “We need to find the First Son”? Honestly, I can’t recall. I do know that Sam was heavily involved in all of this. He was the one who swapped Jason’s unconscious body for a terminal cancer patient at the hospital. He also had a guard on Jason at all times.

So did Eli actually play a role in Jason’s rescue? I thought it was all Sam and his team.

That being said, if Eli really does have footage, it could change everything. But let’s be real—would it even matter? Jason’s mother, Victoria, literally tried to inject him with a lethal dose in the hospital. Even if Eli presents undeniable proof, Jason will never trust him because Eli is aligned with Victoria.

At this point, anything Eli says is a moot point.
