Sonia Fowler left fighting for hers & baby’s life as she goes into labour in burning Queen Vic amid EastEnders explosion
Three characters, including Sonia, will be trapped in the blaze
PREGNANT Sonia Fowler will be left fighting for her life after being left trapped in the shocking Queen Vic fire.
Sonia has just found out the truth about k.i.l.l.e.r Reiss Colwell and how he really k.i.l.l.e.d his wife Debbie and then took Bianca hostage when she was about to rumble him and expose his plans.
With Reiss having vanished following Bianca hitting him over the head earlier this week, Sonia is now coming to grips with her life falling apart and facing life as a single mum.
But as EastEnders turns 40 and ahead of actress Natalie Cassidy’s exit, Sonia’s ordeal looks set to get much, much worse.
With Bianca and Reiss having come face-to-face after he crept back into No. 25, two worlds collide outside on Albert Square which sent in motion a devastating chain of events which leads to a huge explosion and fire in The Queen Vic.
One of those inside the pub is Sonia.
As the fire rages on, Jack Branning does his best to get the locals out of the smouldering building alive but not everyone will make it.
During the show’s live episode on Thursday, it truly is life or d.e.a.t.h with pregnant Sonia’s life hanging in the balance.
Fans will see her go into labour trapped inside the pub as the fire gets out of control.
With no access to medical equipment or support, Sonia only has two other, as-yet unidentified, traumatised Walford locals by her side as they struggle to get to safety,
Sonia’s family and friends will be waiting on nervously outside the blaze as they send their prayers for the three trapped in the pub.
Inside, things are getting worse and worse for the
remaining residents, who finds themselves desperately looking for a way out.
Fully out of control, it quickly becomes apparent it is a race against time for survival?
Will Sonia and her unborn child meet a horrific end in the fire?
Or will her two companions be the ones to lose their lives?
EastEnders airs next week at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer with an hour-long episode on Wednesday before going LIVE the following evening.
