Leo is the son of Marlon Dingle and Rhona Goskirk and half-brother to April Windsor and Ivy Malcolms.
During her pregnancy, Rhona was told that the baby had Down syndrome. However, she, Marlon and her new partner Paddy Kirk decided to raise the child together.
Although Rhona and Marlon got back together, Paddy remained a father figure to Leo. Other storylines for Leo have seen him hit his sister April, be bullied at school and act as best man at his mum’s wedding.
Recently, Leo and his family have been dealing with April’s disappearance. Although she has now returned, the family are struggling to get back to normal.
