Emmerdale confirms major d.e.a.t.h – and a second d.e.a.d body is found
Emmerdale has aired a massively grim twist, which has seen a well-worn d.e.a.d body discovered beneath the icy lake – and it’s not someone from either of the limos.
The shocking turn of events came after the limo carrying the women to a night out careered onto the frozen surface after Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) swerved to avoid a groggy Noah (Jack Downham) on the road.
Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) was left in a seriously bad way, with him having previously swapped his place in the mens’ limo with Mandy (Lisa Riley).
The twist of fate could be a cruel one, with the women trying desperately to keep him alive.
This all came after Suzy Metron (Martelle Edinborough) didn’t come round after sustaining a serious head injury – with Liam having to declare her d.e.a.d, and Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) left utterly broken)
Meanwhile, the other passengers bravely made it across the lake to safety, leaving just Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) to cross.
But when cracking was heard on the weakened ice, things were thrown into a panic, and her friends tried to guide and reassure her as she tentatively waked towards them.
But it wasn’t to be as the ice gave way, plunging her through the icy water.
In the freezing depths she found herself desperately swimming to the surface, but before she did, we saw a hand of a corpse that had obviously been underwater for some time, potentially dumped by a k.i.l.l.e.r.
After screaming in terror, Amy then couldn’t smash her way out of the ice to get to safety. She passed out, sinking to the depths.
When she is pulled out, will she have followed the fate of the body found.
Speaking of which, a leading theory has been that Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) – remember him? – never made it away from the village.
He was last seen with John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), who has proven to be an edgy character and seemingly fairly expert at moving bodies giving how he helped Aaron (Danny Miller) shift Anthony.
Could there be something in this? Or is another missing Emmerdalian rotting away down there?
It’s fair to say that with more lives on the balance, the tragedy may be far from over…
