Emmerdale’s Jeff Hordley ‘let’s slip’ spoiler as identity of body in the lake ‘exposed’
Emmerdale actor Jeff Hordley, who plays Cain Dingle in the ITV soap, has hinted at the identity of the second villager to d.i.e following the horror limo crash
In a shocking episode on Monday night, Cain and several other villagers were caught up in a terrifying limo crash. The vehicles were driven by Caleb Milligan (portrayed by Will Ash) and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), with Charity’s limo ending up submerged in a frozen lake.
The crash has already claimed the life of Suzy (Martelle Edinborough), and tonight’s heart-wrenching scenes will see another villager meet their end – but who will it be?
The accident occurred after Caleb confronted his half-brother about an affair with his wife, Ruby (Beth Cordingly).
Reflecting on his 25-year tenure on Emmerdale, Jeff said: “It has been a long time. I remember joining 25 years ago and thinking, ‘I’ll do two years,’ and two years turned into six, and then I left for a bit and then came back, but it has been a wonderful ride, and I am proud to still be here, to be honest with all these characters going.”, reports Leeds Live.

Alison Hammond then questioned him about Cain’s storyline and why Caleb chose that particular moment to confront him.
The actor explained: “I think that’s my brother, and Will Ash, who plays Caleb, kind of wants to get me in that situation where there are all these people that are so important in Cain’s life.
“There’s Moira’s son, brother, and all of his family, so he’s now, along with Sam and Belle, the head of the Dingle family, and it’s not a good example to set, so he knows what he’s doing.”
Dermot O’Leary turned his attention to Suzy’s d.e.a.t.h and quizzed who would be next. The Cain Dingle star went on: “The cast were all given this information in September last year, and we were told there were two limos, one boys, one girls, and we kind of knew that something was brewing, but out of this comes brilliant storylines and the ripple effect after this is absolutely fantastic.

During last night’s dramatic instalment, Amy (Natalie Jamieson) fell into the lake and saw another body already in there, which has sparked fan theories online.
However, Jeff wasn’t giving anything away; “I can’t tell you that, Alison, can I? You’re going to have to watch and find out, but somebody else is under there; it could be…I don’t know who it could be.
“It could be a postman we have never seen,” Jeff teased.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
