Emmerdale: Joe will get his organ transplant from Caleb
Caleb’s flashforward has yet to happen
Anew Emmerdale fan theory has predicted that Joe Tate could be about to get an organ transplant from uncle Caleb. This comes amid speculation that Joe has been attempting to harvest half-brother Noah’s organs – leading to last week’s limousine crash.
Noah has attempted to piece together his memories since waking up on hospital. This included blurry images of a doctor standing over him with a needle and even what appeared to be Joe in the room too.
What does Joe have planned for Noah?
While Noah has yet to comprehend what happened, a popular fan theory suggests that Joe needs one of Noah’s organs to survive. However, some think a twist might be in store as Joe learns that Noah isn’t a viable donor.
And, with a flashforward showing Caleb flatlining on a hospital bed still to play out, some have wondered whether the two storylines might meet… with Joe seeking a transplant from Caleb instead.
Will Caleb be Joe’s life-saving donor?

Writing on a Reddit thread, one viewer laid forth their theory for Caleb‘s surgery and how it might relate to Joe.
“With everything pointing to Joe having had some medical procedure done on a drugged up Noah to find out if he is compatible as an organ donor and us also seeing a flat lining Caleb in the flashforward, could Caleb be the one that Joe gets whatever it is he is needs, from? He is Joe’s uncle afterall and could be a genetic match,” one viewer pointed out.
“Caleb’s flash forward, Joe Tate probably needs an organ to steal, if it is a heart he needs, I think he takes it from Caleb,” said another, over on X.
Elsewhere, others shared their theory that Noah might not be a viable donor for Joe.
“Just hope they tell Joe that Noah is not a viable donor, owing to his last experience with drugs. You remember, the one that kept him out of the military before they ruined his character,” another fan said.
