Emmerdale spoilers suggest the Dingle civil war will take a sinister turn with a double-crossing plot in the works.

Those who have watched the Tuesday drop of the soap on ITVx will know the ongoing issues have taken a twist. Caleb and Cain were seen still at loggerheads due to the latter sleeping with Ruby.

Chas snapped: “Your tantrums are putting us all at risk.” She added: “Hate each as much as you like but don’t put us at risk.”

This led Chas to pitch a proposal to Aaron that they ‘control the narrative’ and contact the police about Anthony’s disappearance.

Speaking to Aaron, Chas said: “There’s nothing I wouldn’t do to protect you.”

Elsewhere, Moira confronted Ruby again about her tryst with Cain. She said: Moira “This is as close to the lowest I have ever been.”

She added: Moira “I can’t forgive you and I don’t think I can forgive him.” Viewers also saw it being Frankie’s birthday although while there was a present from dad Nate, he didn’t turn up.

Tracy, addressing Nate’s absence, said: “I called him and left a message about the crash. Nothing.”

In a drama-filled edition of the ITV soap, Joe continued his war with Charity. The latter accused him of spiking his half-brother Noah.

“Why would I spike my own brother?” Joe said. “Charity, you look good for someone who just drove three people to their d.e.a.t.h.s.”

And finally, there was a brief hint of an affair between Mary and Suzy, who d.i.e.d in the limo accident, with Mary seen holding a photo of the deceased. Last week, Michelle Hardwick, who plays Vanessa, addressed how her character would feel if she discovered Suzy wasn’t totally committed.

Michelle replied: “I think she would be absolutely heartbroken but I don’t think she’d believe it. She would be so heartbroken as Vanessa always puts 100 per cent into everything she does. It would break her heart.”

You can watch the latest episode of Emmerdale now on ITVx or at 7.30pm on ITV1.
