BBC EastEnders: Sharon secret exposed and Zack baby bombshell

EastEnders is set for a dramatic week as Zack Hudson's teenage son is revealed and Sharon Watts' secret is exposed - but what has the Walford resident been hiding?

EastEnders fans are in for a rollercoaster ride of secrets and revelations as fresh plotlines unfold across Albert Square.

The drama begins with Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), who finds herself at the centre of intrigue when her secret is discovered by Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer).

This prompts Sharon to consider coming clean, but circumstances prevent her from revealing the truth. What could she be concealing?

After her unsuccessful attempt to confess, Sharon confides in her brother Zack Hudson (James Farrar) about her secret.

However, their private conversation is overheard by an unexpected listener – Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman). In a bid to shield his sister, Zack assures Sharon that he will prevent Barney from spilling her secret.

But another shocking revelation soon comes to light. At Harry’s Barn, Zack confronts Barney, but their discussion takes a dramatic turn when Barney starts bleeding from a wound he received during the explosion at The Queen Vic, reports Plymouth Live.

Zack then joins his ex-lover Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) and Teddy (Roland Manookian) at the hospital where Barney is being treated. However, confusion arises when a discussion about blood types raises doubts about Barney’s parentage.

Determined to uncover the truth, Zack confronts Nicola, who confesses that he is indeed Barney’s biological father.

A distraught Zack returns to Walford, seeking solace at the bottom of a glass. His day takes a further nosedive following a phone call from his former fiancée, Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty). Will the secrets harboured by Sharon and Nicola be unveiled to the rest of the Mitchell family?

In another part of town, Bianca is grappling with her own demons, finding it difficult to venture out onto the Square and feeling trapped. She finds comfort in George Knight’s (Colin Salmon) reassurances that she bears no blame for the incident at The Queen Vic.

Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) extends a helping hand, prompting Bianca to start sharing her traumatic experiences. As the week progresses, The Knights rally around Bianca, supporting her as she attempts to confront her fears.

Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) fetches her some food from Beales Eels, only to find himself at the receiving end of a group’s hostility. Bianca must overcome her fears to stand up for Kojo, but will she manage to make any headway?

Tommy Moon

Meanwhile, Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) makes his return home, immediately winning over his parents Kat and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) with a thoughtful act towards a friend in need. However, when Tommy persistently requests to connect with his friend online, Kat risks sparking an argument when she confesses to having disposed of his computer console.

Later in the week, Tommy loses his temper, but will he resort to violence once more? Elsewhere, Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) feels sidelined by the Slaters as they mourn Martin (James Bye), leading him to seek solace in Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and available to stream on BBC iPlayer from 6am
