Emmerdale exit ‘sealed’ for icon after 22 years as ‘serial k.i.l.l.e.r to strike again’
Emmerdale fans are convinced another cold b.l.o.o.d.i.e.d m.u.r.d.e.r in on the horizon
Emmerdale fans have been left fearing for Aaron Dingle as his partner, John Sugden, continues to display worrying behaviour following the m.u.r.d.e.r of Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) in January.
During Wednesday’s trip to the village (February 26), suspicious Aaron (Danny Miller) went for a walk with his mum Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), and the conversation soon turned to the whereabouts of Anthony’s body.
Chas was shocked to learn that Aaron didn’t know its location and suggested they go to the police. When Aaron returned home, he wasted no time asking his boyfriend John (Oliver Farnworth) where he had buried Anthony’s body.
John tried to deflect Aaron’s questions by suggesting that it was not in his best interest to know where the corpse was hidden.
Later, Aaron suggested they go to the police about Anthony’s death but John became increasingly annoyed at the thought of meddling in his business.
“I thought you loved me”, John asked Aaron, before adding: “I put my life on the line to save you, just you remember that.”
In a bid to regain Aaron’s trust, John convened a secret meeting with everyone involved in the cover-up of Anthony’s death, including Aaron, Chas, Caleb (William Ash), Cain (Jeff Hordley), and Ruby (Beth Cordingly), stressing that if one person deviates from the plan, everything will unravel.
To regain their trust, John revealed the location of Anthony’s makeshift grave in the woods leaving Ruby beside herself. After John and Aaron visited the burial site, the pair had a heart-to-heart about recent events as Aaron felt guilty for doubting his partner.
John explained how he learned to deal with death while serving in the army, which prompted Aaron to say “sorry” once more, but John replied with a stern: “Okay.”
Aaron added: “I don’t want you thinking bad of mum”, while John replied: “Well, I think we have established the ground rules; it’s good you have someone fighting your corner. I just think I’m going to have to work a bit harder to win her over.”
Emmerdale fans have been left concerned about John’s manipulative behaviour towards Aaron. They also believe John is a serial k.i.l.l.e.r whose victims include Anthony and Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), who is thought to be dead in the lake, and Aaron is next on his list.
Taking to X, one person wrote: “If Aaron said ‘no John, I don’t love you”. Would that crack John’s calm control façade? (Remember Meena) Would that draw out John’s psycho? Is Ruby going to disturb Anthony/Aiden grave? Could Mack unwittingly come across it? If he tries to retrace Noah’s footsteps? #Emmerdale.”
A second added: “Deffo making John a serial k.i.l.l.e.r way he is acting. Still not sure the point in it. Nobody wants another Aaron breakdown. Storyline sucks donkey nut #emmerdale.”
A third chimed in: “If John is a k.i.l.l.e.r this gives us a whole new Aaron storyline I can’t I’m so excited #Emmerdale.”
“I reckon John k.i.l.l.e.d Nate and possibly Anthony. What can’t Aaron ever be happy? #emmerdale”, suggested one fan.
“#Emmerdale is it me or is John gaslighting Aaron? He seems to be rather controlling & playing the “do you love me” card when he feels threatened”, added another.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV and ITVX
