EastEnders lines up more trauma for the residents of Walford, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, with the aftermath of Martin Fowler’s (James Bye) d.e.a.t.h – and the circumstances surrounding it – still sending shockwaves.
Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) is suffering from panic attacks in the wake of her ordeal at Reiss Colwell’s (Jonny Freeman) hands and thus is afraid to leave her home.
The Knights, who moved into the property following the explosion at the Queen Vic, are determined to offer their support as they attempt to coax her into going out to Beale’s Eels – but she gets overwhelmed.
Will Bianca get the help she needs? And can she come to terms with what has transpired?
The soap icon is soon the subject of discussion for Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), who is taken aback to discover that she knows about her one night stand with Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp).
Fearing it’s only a matter of time before the truth is revealed, Sharon resolves to come clean to Teddy (Roland Manookian).
However, when her efforts backfire she turns to Zack Hudson (James Farrar) for advice – but the conversation is overheard by Barney (Lewis Bridgeman).
Zack assures Sharon that he will stop Barney from speaking out but, upon initiating a conversation with him, Barney starts to bleed from his wound.
Barney is rushed to hospital and a subsequent conversation about blood groups piques Zack’s suspicions as he puts two and two together, confronting Nicola (Laura Doddington), who confirms that he’s Barney’s father!
Zack is left reeling by the discovery. Will Teddy find out? And what’s more, will Barney uncover the truth?
It’s going to be quite a week in the Square.
