Emmerdale double exit ‘sealed’ as character takes brutal revenge after discovery
Emmerdale fans have seen Steph Milligan determined to find out where her relative Anthony Milligan has been since his disappearance on the ITV show earlier this year
There’s set to be trouble ahead for one family as Steph Milligan’s search her grandfather continues on Emmerdale.
Steph (played by Georgia Jay) has expressed concerned for Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day), whom she’s unaware is also her biological father, since he disappeared in January. Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly) seemingly k.i.l.l.e.d her abusive father Anthony, though her daughter Steph is yet to find out.
The cover-up of Anthony’s death earlier this year has already included numerous villagers like Ruby’s husband Caleb Milligan (William Ash) and his nephew Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller). The latter’s partner John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) has since claimed to have buried the body under a tree stump – though there’s suspicion among fans that he may not have been telling the truth.

Spoilers for next week reveal that Steph remains determined to get to the truth about Anthony moving forward. And her suspicions about his mysterious disappearance are said to be heightened when she receives a phone call from one of his friends who was expecting him to visit them recently.
Intrigued by her mother Ruby’s fraught behaviour and other observations, Steph is still convinced that her parents are hiding something. Taking matters into her own hands, she ends up getting caught going through her father Caleb’s office for clues about Anthony’s whereabouts.
It’s also teased that her unrelenting pursuit of the truth prompts Caleb to enlist Ross Barton (Michael Parr) to stop Steph looking any further into Anthony’s whereabouts. She however believes that she’s made a breakthrough when she finds the revolver that Caleb brought to a confrontation he had with Anthony shortly before his apparent death. Caleb assures his daughter that the gun was to k.i.l.l his brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), who had slept with sister-in-law Ruby.

Steph heads to the farm for an explanation from her uncle though, but viewers will have to wait to find out if Cain will back up his brother’s story after Caleb previously trying to frame him for Anthony’s murder. The spoilers add that Steph remains “determined” and that Caleb attempts to comfort “terrified” Ruby, who has already expressed much concern over their daughter finding out her parentage.
Teasing more tension and potential exits ahead, it’s revealed that S could end up being reported to the police amid concerns over the prospect of the cover-up unravelling in the village. The spoilers for upcoming scenes state that Caleb is “left reeling” after Ross tells him that Steph is planning to report both him and Ruby to the police for their apparent involvement in Anthony’s disappearance.
Emmerdale airs weekdays from 7.30pm on ITV, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
