Fans of the ITV soap were left gutted when the pair went their separate ways, but in Tuesday’s scenes, emotions run high as sparks fly once again.
Moira Dingle was completely overwhelmed to be given the all-clear.
Moira finally got the news she’d been hoping for as the doctor confirmed she was in the clear – but it came with a catch.
She’ll need yearly check-ups to keep an eye on things, but for now, she can breathe a sigh of relief.
However, the moment was bittersweet.
When the doctor brought up family support, Moira couldn’t help but feel a pang of sadness, knowing the tensions at Butlers are far from over.
Emmerdale viewers know that Cain Dingle slept with Ruby Fox-Miligan at the garage as he was in turmoil over his wife Moira’s health scare.
Moira was devastated to find out that Cain was betraying her while she was scared for her life.
Moira wasted no time raising a glass – or several – to her good news about her all-clear, hitting the pub for a boozy celebration.
But it wasn’t just about the all-clear; drowning her sorrows over Cain was clearly on the menu too.
Things took a turn when Ruby walked in.
With Moira already tipsy, Ruby stepped in to help.
And after some helpful advice, Moira finally confronted Cain and made a huge decision about their future…
Moira said: “I want to give it another go.”
Cain responded: “I’ll do whatever it takes… however long it takes.”
Moira replied: “No, none of that. Let’s just make it work,” before they passionately kiss.
Can Cain and Moira finally put their past behind them?
