AN EASTENDERS legend is “set to sign up” for I’m A Celebrity after starring in the soap’s explosive 40th anniversary episode.
The BBC One star, who currently lives a sun-soaked life in America, is set to swap the States for battling bugs Down Under later this year.
Bookies claim Patsy Palmer, who plays Walford’s Bianca Jackson, has odds of 2/1 to pull on her I’m A Celeb jungle boots on the ITV reality series.
The new show kicks off later this year, with the full line-up still yet to be finalised and revealed by broadcasters.
They will follow in the footsteps of McFly’s Danny Jones, who scooped the Jungle King title back in 2024.
It came as the actress, who has played the role of Bianca Jackson since 1993, starred EastEnders’ live episode last month.
Patsy’s much-loved character, who was recently involved in a kidnap scene, helped on-screen sister Sonia give birth after a Queen Vic explosion, while Martin Fowler tragically d.i.e.d.
She returned for a short stint to make the 40th anniversary yet, after the scenes wrapped, was treated to a wild leaving do.
A delighted Patsy shared a photo of her on the dancefloor with husband Richard Merkell and wrote: “Reunited with my Richard and it feels so good .
“Thanks to all my beautiful EastEnders family for a wonderful few months of love and history making. Honoured to have been part if it.
“Natalie Cassidy, I’ll miss my sis! Next step … NAT & PAT? 4EVER.”
BIANCA’S SCREEN TIME
Since bursting into Albert Square in 1993, Bianca Jackson has been one of the most iconic EastEnders characters ever to grace Walford.
The fiery redhead has been involved in some major storylines over the years.
Bianca’s on-off romance with Ricky Butcher captivated millions of fans and their on-screen marriage in 1997 drew one of the biggest soap audiences ever – it also coined the phrase “Rickaaay”.
She remained in the role for six years, but waved goodbye to Walford for the first time in 1999.
In 2008, Bianca was back on the Square and reunited with her estranged family, before leaving again in 2014.
She made an explosive comeback in April 2024, and reunited with her real dad David Wicks in October.
