ITV Emmerdale fans ‘figure out’ Ruby Fox-Miligan’s killer plan – and it’s particularly grim

Ruffling feathers left, right and centre in Emmerdale, Ruby Fox-Miligan is a character to watch out for – but could she be working hard to kill her husband Caleb? And is poison involved?
Possessive and feisty Ruby, portrayed by Beth Cordingly, arrived in the ITV village earlier this year, keen to fix her marriage with the troublemaker, completely unaware he had embarked on an affair with Tracy Robinson while they were estranged.
Once she found out, Ruby exposed Tracy and Caleb in the middle of Belle and Tom King’s wedding reception. But despite making it clear she wasn’t happy with his betrayal, she remained adamant on keeping her other half by her side and triggered a plethora or rows as she antagonised the Dingles, his long-lost family.

In recent scenes of the Yorkshire-based drama, Ruby and Caleb’s volatile relationship has led them to argue and make up almost minutes later, with the latter remaining desperate to connect with the Dingles, much to his wife’s dismay.
Ruby has been just as determined to keep Caleb all to herself, going as far as to turn to his arch nemesis Kim Tate to plot her revenge. Left to her own devices by the businesswoman, the troubled character has left ITV viewers speculating she could take drastic action to further isolate her husband – and possibly poison or even kill him.
Last night’s trip to the eponymous village showed Caleb collapsing in pain for a mysterious reason and soap fans believe they’ve figured out Ruby’s grim plan. “So is Ruby still going to get her own back on Caleb?”, one viewer questioned on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“What’s up with Caleb, is she poisoning him, not that I’m bothered”, another added while a third echoed: “Probably Ruby, trying to poison him?” A fourth viewer jumped in: “I reckon Ruby is poisoning Caleb.”
Many killers have roamed the Yorkshire Dales throughout the decades, from Cameron Murray to sinister and uncontrollable nurse Meena Jutla.

More recently, Amit Sharma was hinted to have had his own murderous experience as he has been suspected of killing his own brother Rishi. Could Ruby be turning into another dangerous villain?
Whatever the case may be, spoilers for next week have revealed that Ruby is due for an explosive clash with village GP Manpreet Sharma as she fails to aid Caleb in his health struggle in upcoming scenes. The son of Faith Dingle and Frank Tate arrives at the surgery in hopes to get an emergency appointment – but Manpreet sends him packing.
As Ruby takes aim at Manpreet, the character played by Rebecca Sarker confronts her, keen to de-escalate the situation. But as she tries to cool things off, she’s left fearing she may have unwillingly added fuel to the fire. What’s in store for the pair of women? Will Ruby unleash her rage on Manpreet?
