ITV Emmerdale Ella Forster’s link to unlikely villager ‘revealed’ in shock DNA twist

Emmerdale fans are convinced there is a huge DNA link between Ella Forster and another resident – but it’s not Tom or Meena.

Ella – played by Coronation Street star Paula Lane – arrived in the Dales earlier this year, but fans are convinced she’s hiding a big secret. Paula confirmed Ella is hiding something, and she has responsibilities outside the village – but what are they?

Fans have been desperate to find out what she was keeping from viewers, with some convinced she could be linked to serial killer Meena Jutla whilst others are sure she is connected to abuser Tom King. However, fans have now predicted a potential DNA connection on the Dales – and according to them, she’s related to two key characters.

One fan penned: “So… who do we think Ella actually is or is connected to? I mean come on she must have something hiding, nobody ever enters this village alone without some connection somewhere lol. In my opinion, she’s a dingle. I saw a post somewhere or an article cant remember that she has some connection to Tina Dingle and I cant lie I do see some resemblance.”

“Wouldn’t see that coming,” a fan penned in response, whilst a third is convinced she could be related to someone else in the village. They wrote: “Yes I also heard that she’s Bears daughter too,” whilst a fourth penned: “But, she’s had a few scenes with Bear and the way they exchanged snarky comments, I think she might be Bear’s daughter/Paddy’s half-sister.”

Actress Paula has teased that Ella does have a past and “responsibilities” outside of the village.

“Ella does have a past that is going to be revealed. She does have responsibilities elsewhere outside the village that mean a great deal to her and I’m so looking forward to exploring this further,” she explained to Digital Spy.

“When something or someone so important to her is put at risk she will fight so hard to protect that situation. This is a part of her we’ve yet to see and there is currently a lot at stake and a lot to fight for.”

When she arrived in the Dales, Paula warned she would be caught in a love triangle.

She said: “There’s already been a relationship going on there at the minute in the surgery. So I don’t know. There might be some fireworks, there’s a little bit of competition, perhaps. Little love triangle going on. But behind closed doors, who knows what can happen. So there’s a brand new set that we’re actually building, surgery is going to be on Main Street. And that’s when all this character will kind of come in, I’m going to be at the heart of the village, working out the new surgery.”
