In the most recent chapter of the beloved series, DI Mervin Wilson, portrayed by Don Gilet, delved into the mysterious past of his late mum Dorna, played by Judith Jacob, upon learning she had died months before he set foot on Saint Marie.

Mervin’s growing suspicions about the nature of Dorna’s Dᴇᴀᴛʜ led him to uncover significant truths. His journey also unraveled details about his own adoption – a decision made by his mother when he was just an infant.

Selwyn read aloud from the letter: “I think you should hear this. She mentions the ring you told me about. But, she says ‘I have not taken it off since I got back here, and I’m never going to. I’m always going to wear it. And, whenever I look at it, I’m always going to think of our little boy.'”
