Tom King (James Chase) has been displaying worrying signs of controlling behaviour over wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) in Emmerdale, but things are only set to get worse as his jealousy mounts.

In upcoming scenes, Tom is thrilled when he is able to go on a work trip after Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) saves the day.

Following their supposed break in, Belle expresses her worry at being left alone, but little does she know that abuser Tom will be watching her every move via their puppy cam.

As soon as he arrives at the hotel, Tom sets about watching Belle go about her business, but he is left incensed when he sees Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) arrive.

Infuriated, Tom grabs his keys and heads straight home, but when he gets there, Belle is nowhere to be seen, and his anger only grows when he fails to locate her on his tracking app.

Meanwhile, Belle and Vinny innocently walk their dogs in the woods, completely oblivious to Tom’s fury back at home.

Soon, conversation turns to Belle’s temperamental phone, and she is grateful when Vinny offers to fix it.

As Belle heads home, she just misses Tom, who has finally managed to track Belle’s phone to the scrapyard, where Vinny has worked his magic and managed to get it back to working order.

When Tom hears Vinny approaching the portacabin, Tom panics and violently lashes out, hitting Vinny over the head with a paperweight.

After wiping his fingerprints from the weapon, Tom flees the scene, leaving Vinny bleeding and alone in the portacabin.

Will Vinny survive the ordeal?
