Ex-D.e.a.t.h in Paradise detective makes major demand of BBC bosses after series finale is delayed
The new finale date for D.e.a.t.h in Paradise has been confirmed by BBC bosses
A FORMER D.e.a.t.h in Paradise detective has made a major demand of BBC bosses as the show’s finale is delayed.
Last week it was revealed the fan-favourite crime drama was the latest show to fall victim to a schedule shakeup.
Actor Don Gilet has become its latest detective after making his D.e.a.t.h in Paradise debut over Christmas.
However, the series 14 finale has been ousted from its usual Friday slow for Comic Relief.
It means the D.e.a.t.h in Paradise final will now air on Friday, March 28 at 9pm.
But now Kris Marshall – who played Humphrey Goodman for four series – has called for all five stars to unite.
Asked whether he keeps in touch with each actor, Kris said: “There’s no WhatsApp group.”
He added to Radio Times: “But I would love some kind of reunion where all five of us meet up on screen.”
Ben Miller, Ardal O’Hanlon and Ralf Little also all held the esteemed lead role in D.e.a.t.h and Paradise before
Eagle-eyed D.e.a.t.h in Paradise fans know Kris’ character has already shared the screen with Ben Miller character Richard Poole, albeit as a d.e.a.d body.
Ardal O’Hanlon’s Jack Mooney also crossed paths with the detective in the sixth series.
And Ralf Little’s character met Humprey Goodman in the first series of Beyond Paradise.
