Emmerdale: ‘work out’ April Windsor’s second pregnancy – and they ‘know’ the father
ITV Emmerdale fans are convinced that April Windsor will discover she's pregnant again, but it won't be Kai who is the father of her unborn child
Emmerdale viewers are speculating a surprise pregnancy twist for character April Windsor.
Last year, April (played by Amelia Flanagan) disappeared after a heated argument with her father Marlon (Mark Charnock), following a challenging period in the Dales.
She was later found months afterwards in a gym toilet where she had unexpectedly gone into labour, only to be heartbroken by the stillbirth of her baby girl. Since returning to the Dales, the news of her pregnancy left her family and friends stunned.
When asked about the baby’s father, April revealed it was a “random” man she met at a party. Despite trying to regain some normality, April attended a gathering at Arthur Thomas’ (Alfie Clarke) house last week.
There, she was seen conversing with another teenager, Kai, who showed concern for her. Kai reassured her that no one was judging her past, but when he continued to pry, she asked him to stop, promising him a “offering him a reward” for his silence.
Later, April and Kai were found by her father Marlon downstairs, leading to an awkward situation as April quickly left the house.
The implication was that the two may have been intimate, leaving Marlon furious at the thought of his daughter having sex in their friend’s house.
Now, fans are convinced that April might be pregnant again, but in a surprising twist, they believe Kai won’t be the father, reports Leicestershire Live. Emmerdale viewers have been left speculating on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page about April Dingle’s storyline.
One fan commented, “I really hope April doesn’t end up pregnant again…” while another chimed in with, “Maybe that’s why they’ve introduced that lad?”.
Yet another person doubted Kai would be the father if there is a pregnancy, stating, “Would be too obvious for him to be if she is preg again.”
Meanwhile, someone else speculated, “Maybe that same guy as before? Remember she went out last week without telling Marlon and we didn’t see where she went?”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
