Fans are speculating that a beloved Emmerdale character could be making a return to the Dales, potentially revealing Dawn Taylor’s secret affair.
Earlier this year, viewers were taken aback when Dawn (played by Olivia Bromley) embarked on an affair with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), while mourning the loss of her father Will (Dean Andrews), who passed away at Christmas.
In search of solace, she cheated on her husband Billy (Jay Kontzle) with Joe. Despite their insistence that it was a one-time thing, the pair have continued their clandestine relationship.
Meanwhile, Joe’s step-grandmother Kim Tate (Claire King) harboured suspicions about Joe and, true to Tate form, eventually discovered the truth about Joe and Dawn’s affair.
