Emmerdale star let’s slip ‘there could be another body in the water’ in Nate Robinson twist
EXCLUSIVE: During tonight's dramatic episode of Emmerdale, fans finally find out what happened to Nate Robinson
Emmerdale star Natalie Jamieson, who played Amy Wyatt in the ITV soap, has teased that another body could be in the lake with Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter). In heartbreaking scenes aired earlier this year, Amy d.i.e.d following a tragic limo crash.
The village stalwart succomed to her injuries after the limo Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) was driving plummeted into the frozen lake. However, while trapped underneath the ice, Amy discovered Nate’s body in the water.
Amy tried to tell Matty about Nate’s body before she d.i.e.d, and up until now, fans had no clue about how Nate got there, but everything will be revealed in upcoming scenes.
As he was the last person to see Nate before he left the village, fans think John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) had something to do with it – and their theories appear to be right.
When addressing who could k.i.l.l.e.d Nate, Natalie said: “I always look at the clues like I did with the bracelet, so we have to look at the clues.
“So that sounds like a good clue for the John thing [and that he was the last person to see Nate alive]. Just keep looking for clues. I think they put clues back further than you think.”
When discussing whether there could be another body with Nate in the lake, the soap star didn’t rule it out. The actress teased: “Amy didn’t see another body when she was down there, but there could be another body in the water because that lake must be deep.”
She added: “When they pulled Suzie out, they didn’t find Nate, so there could be another body down there.”
During tonight’s episode, available to watch on ITVX, fans find out what really happened to Nate, and it involved John. In a flashback scene, John gives Nate an injection after the barn fire happened, and it had fatal consequences.
Despite her character being k.i.l.l.e.d off from the soap, Natalie is very much looking forward to the future.
“I’ve been playing the same character for six years, which, as an actor, hardly ever happens. We’re kind of used to chopping and changing a lot,” she said.
“So I’m really excited to play another character again, but a bit nervous as well. I feel like, ‘Oh, how can I play a character that’s not Amy, I only know how to play Amy’.
“But I’m sure as soon as the right thing comes along, like, obviously, that’ll change. But yeah, I’m very excited and a little bit nervous as well.”
Emmerdale is available to watch on ITVX.
