Emmerdale legend announces they are expecting their third child as co-stars and famous friends rush to congratulate

Emmerdale legend Danny Miller has announced he and wife Steph Jones are expecting their third child.

The actor, 34, who plays Aaron Dingle in the ITV soap, took to Instagram with the news a sweet family snap with three-year-old son Albert and two-year-old daughter Edith.

Later Steph took her Stories and proudly displayed her blossoming bump as she posed in a black bodysuit gushing how excited she was to ‘become a mum again soon’.

In his announcement Danny wrote: ‘Three is the magic number…’.

His Emmerdale co-stars and famous friends rushed to send their congratulations with Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy Dingle, gushing: ‘So much love’.

While Laura Norton, who plays Kerry Wyatt, posted a slew of love heart emojis, elsewhere Lucy Jo Hudson said: ‘Mate congratulations’.

Earlier this year Danny awkwardly sulked after losing during an appearance on Celebrity MasterMind.

The actor joined fellow stars Josie d’Arby, Elizabeth Rizzini and Qasa Alom on the iconic BBC quiz show.

Danny took to the chair in a bid to raise money for his chosen charity, Once Upon a Smile, which helps people with bereavement support.

The soap star had 1.5 minutes to answer questions on his specialist subject – the life and works of writer and playwright, Julia Donaldson.

During his appearance he also had two minutes to answer as many general knowledge questions as possible.

Danny managed to score seven in the specialist round, and three in the general knowledge.

At the end of the episode, it was revealed that Danny was awarded 10 points, followed by Josie with 16 points.

Qasa was awarded 18 and Elizabeth was crowned winner of the show with an incredible 23 points.

Danny looked very awkward with his hands crossed as he watched on.

And those watching at home caught on.

One pointed out on X, formerly known as Twitter: ‘#celebritymastermind The guy from Emmerdale. Sulking. Pathetic’; ‘#dannymiller couldn’t look more bored if he tried. #celebritymastermind is supposed to be fun.’

‘Danny’s not bovvvvered#CelebrityMastermind,’ while another asked: ‘Could Danny be less interested?’

Danny is best known for playing his alter-ego Aaron on the ITV soap.

He took on the role in 2008 and played the mechanic until 2012.

The star rejoined the show in 2014 and has been on it ever since.

During his time away from the Dales, he starred in Lightfields, Scott & Bailey and Jamaica Inn.

Danny also appeared on the 21st series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2021 and won the show.
