Emmerdale’s Kim Tate wants answers after a hospital visit throws up a bombshell
The relationship between Kim Tate (Claire King) and Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) in Emmerdale is a fairly stable one at the moment, since their wedding in 2022.
Basically Kim calls the shots, Will does as he’s told and everyone’s content. But a face from Will’s past is set to derail all that and it’s safe to say Kim is not going to be happy.
Will and Kim agree to help son-in-law Billy (Jay Kontzle) out when he has to juggle childcare with his new personal trainer business. However, it’s not long before Will gets a mysterious phone call and heads off.
He goes to the hospital, where he soon hears a familiar voice talking to the nurses. It’s not long before he comes face to face with Rose – someone he knows very well indeed.
Rose will be played by Christine Tremarco, who will be familiar to viewers from her roles in Waterloo Road, Casualty and The Responder among many others.
What we know so far is that Rose has been living in Benidorm. Producer Laura Shaw told us,
‘Christine brings a wealth of experience and talent and playing the character of Rose, a true free spirit with an exuberant outlook on life. Rose is mysterious, boisterous and bolshy and loves to party. What I can tell you is that she’s someone from Will’s past so she’s going to be hitting our screens soon and causing a real storm at Home Farm and with Kim Tate.’
Christine Tremarco added that, ‘Rose is so much fun to play. She is free spirited and totally mischievous with a steely edge and a big heart.’
When Will gets back to Home Farm after his encounter with Rose, he says nothing about her to Kim, who is curious about where he suddenly vanished to.
It’s clear that Will has something to hide concerning Rose – but how long can he keep things quiet from Kim?
And who is the mysterious Rose, anyway?
