EastEnders’ hammer wielding villain on the attack in early BBC iPlayer release

This article contains spoilers for tonight’s episode of EastEnders, which airs tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One or can be streamed now on iPlayer.
The Albert Square teens have been left terrified after being threatened with a hammer.
It all kicked off at Amy Mitchell’s (Ellie Dadd) party, which she’d hoped would be an opportunity for everyone to get together and relax after a turbulent few months.
Pretty much all of the youngsters have had some sort of turmoil recently, whether that be Amy’s injuries from the club crush, Denzel Danes’ (Jaden Ladega) steroid addiction, or Nugget Gulati’s (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) ordeal with his murderous grandfather Nish (Navin Chowdhry).
We’ve also seen Avani Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) and Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) turn to smoking weed, the former using it to help forget the traumatic strip search she faced last month.
Lily hoped it would numb the pain of her grief for father figure Martin Fowler (James Bye), who was killed following the Queen Vic explosion.
The two had sought to buy more of the drugs earlier this week, and had to resort to desperate measures to get their hands on the cash.
After stealing from Kat Slater’s (Jessie Wallace) cab office, Lily got stoned and was caught by Bex Fowler (Jasmine Armfield) in the caff.
Elsewhere, Avani had met up with her dealer Declan (Alfie Cain) and bought some for herself.
She was surprised when Amy approached her and invited her to a party, given their relationship has been fractured in the wake of a strip search.
Avani was the only one to have such intense questioning, and she tore strips off Amy when her dad Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) failed to intervene.
Despite everything, there’s still a lot of love between the girls and Avani was delighted for a return to normality.
She arrived at the bash and immediately binned her drugs, realising that she didn’t need them.
However, it wasn’t long until trouble landed on the doorstep in the form of Declan and his crony.
They stormed in and decided to use it as a ‘business opportunity’, selling more of their products to the attendees.
Avani demanded that he leave, and was forced to come clean to Amy about Declan’s intentions.
She ordered the lads to leave, warning them that her dad was a copper and wouldn’t be pleased.
Joel Marshall (Max Murray) stepped in and told Declan to get out, with Denzel backing him up.
However, Declan was armed with a hammer and asserted that they ‘shouldn’t have done that’.
Will Jack return in time before someone is hurt? Find out the answers over on iPlayer now, or tune in tonight!
