ITV Emmerdale tonight as villager’s departure confirmed – and it’s not Joe Tate
Will they leave the village forever?
A resident is set to leave the ITV Emmerdale village but it is not the villainous Joe Tate – it is Steph.
On Tuesday night’s episode, which can be viewed early on ITV X, Steph will be ‘out of action’ for the next few weeks as she leaves the village. This follows her mission to completely change the way she looks after being convinced – by herself- that she looks like her real father but also grandfather Anthony.
After coming up with a story about being bullied at school and despite reservations, a surgeon gives Steph the green light for rhinoplasty – a “nose job”.
Delighted that she is getting what she wants, Steph rushes home to tell her parents that she is seeing a friend in Italy before seeing a text that a procedure is planned for tomorrow. Although her parents are upset she is leaving on her Caleb’s birthday, they accept her decision and get a suitcase for her.
Steph then answers a phone call from an unknown number about a consultation of a brow lift. However, she tells the other person that she will be ‘unreachable’ for the next few weeks.
Elsewhere, John lies to Victoria that he got the job at the hospital. He also tells Liam that he quits as a receptionist but gets reinstated in his original post as a medical professional after helping Liam with a panic attack – which he quickly accepted.
