Tom King (James Chase) was on a mission to find Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) a girlfriend in Thursday’s (April 25) episode of Emmerdale.
We know full well that Tom’s gesture has nothing to do with being a good mate to Vinny. He wants Vinny to have a girlfriend because then he’ll spend less time with Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper).
During an afternoon in the Woolpack, Tom decided Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) would be an ideal match for Vinny.
As far as these two characters are concerned they couldn’t be more different. Gabby lives up at Home Farm and her wardrobe is full of business attire, while Vinny feels a lot more comfortable in worker boots and chequered shirts.
Tom’s intention to set Vinny up with Gabby really didn’t work. He then decided to try and comfort Gabby and said she would find someone soon enough.
Just as Tom gave Gabby a hug, Belle walked in.
She was immediately uncomfortable watching Tom and Gabby together. With Tom being well, Tom, it wasn’t long until he was using Belle’s emotions to his advantage.
In front of his wife, Tom called Gabby a ‘catch’ and said she juggles everything in her life while ‘looking like she stepped out of a style magazine’.
It certainly made Gabby feel better but for Belle, she was left feeling insecure and jealous.
But if Belle expresses her thoughts to Tom about his behaviour in the pub, what will he say?
