Emmerdale ‘confirms’ Joe Tate’s future as vengeance ‘revealed’
Emmerdale k.i.l.l.e.r Joe Tate was pushed out of a window during a dramatic whodunnit at Home Farm last week
Emmerdale seemed to hint at Joe Tate’s fate in Tuesday’s episode following his terrifying fall at Home Farm.
Just last week, viewers were left on the edge of their seats as Joe was thrown out of a window in a shocking twist, sparking an intense whodunnit. Joe, whose return to the village in December caused quite a stir, has made a slew of enemies recently due to his scandalous deeds.
His list of wrongdoings includes drugging his half-brother Noah Dingle, instigating a fatal limo crash that claimed the lives of Amy Barton, Leyla Harding, and Suzy Merton.
But he didn’t stop there. Joe also masterminded a knife attack on his uncle Caleb Miligan with the intention of stealing his kidney, a wicked scheme he managed to pull off.
Furthermore, Joe has been embroiled in a secret affair with Dawn Fletcher, while simultaneously blackmailing her daughter Clemmie behind the oblivious Billy’s back, reports Leicestershire Live.
The tension reached boiling point at Lydia Dingle’s birthday party held at Home Farm, where many of Joe’s adversaries gathered. The truth about the kidney theft and tragic limo accident was revealed, causing outrage amongst the guests.
In a dramatic climax, Joe was pushed from an upper floor window, leaving him motionless on the ground in a classic whodunnit scenario.
Earlier this week, it was disclosed that Dawn was the one who pushed him. She is now keeping her d.e.a.d.l.y secret under wraps while numerous villagers are being questioned by the police.
It appears that Joe’s fate has been revealed, as he lies in a coma in the hospital. In a conversation at The Woolpack on Tuesday’s episode, doctor Jacob Gallagher, whose mother Leyla was a victim of the limo crash, mentioned that the medical team is satisfied with Joe’s progress.
However, he also expressed a disturbing sentiment: “I wish he was d.e.a.d.”
Meanwhile, Dawn received a distressing phone call from Kim Tate at the hospital, informing her that the doctors plan to bring Joe out of his coma within the next day or two.
In a recent interview, Ned Porteous, the actor who plays Joe, hinted at the possibility of Joe seeking revenge if he were to survive the whodunit.
When asked about Joe’s potential reaction, Ned replied: “I’m sure, I’m sure he will, yeah. I’m sure there’ll be some sort of vengeance, particularly.”
The actor added: “It’s not the nicest thing to get, you know, pushed out of a window, so I’m sure he’s a little bit miffed about that, but we’ll see. I can’t give you any spoilers!”
This suggests that if Joe does recover, he may be driven to exact revenge on those responsible for his ordeal.
Emmerdale continues every weeknight at 7:30pm on ITV and ITV X with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. Each episode is available to watch at 7am on ITV X also.
