Goodbye Jean? EastEnders Star Faces Exit as Harvey’s Betrayal Sparks Outrage!
In tonight's EastEnders, Jean Slater emotionally broke down after it was revealed that her fiancé Harvey was having an affair with Kathy - and fans fear her exit's on the cards

The residents of Albert Square dealt with the aftermath of Cindy Beale’s bombshell video in tonight’s EastEnders, which exposed Kathy and Harvey’s months long affair.
After returning to Walford just last week, in true Cindy style she’s caused destruction throughout the Square. Determined to get her revenge on Kathy, Cindy exposed her ex mother-in-law’s affair with Harvey with a video for all to see in the Queen Vic. What’s worse it came during Jean and Harvey’s engagement celebrations.
Tonight’s episode saw a heartbroken Jean emotionally break down as she struggled to come to terms with the end of the relationship. She was seen throwing plates on the kitchen floor in front of Harvey as a worried Kat, Alfie, Stacey and Freddie stood outside the door.
Towards the end of the episode, Harvey made it clear to Jean that it was Kathy he wanted to be with, as he was seen leaving the Slaters and heading over to Ian and Kathy’s.

Explaining how the affair started, Harvey told Jean: “When Martin died, we were all in shock. You were focused on Stacey’s grief and I wanted to help and support you. I tried.. but everything I did was wrong and you shut me out. You made me feel useless, invisible.”
However, fans now think they’ve worked out the ‘real reason’ Harvey and Kathy’s affair was placed into the show, and they think it’s leading to a possible exit for Jean.
Taking to Reddit, one fan penned: “I assume she’ll be leaving with Stacey when that exit storyline comes, and that’s why they’ve split her and Harvey up,” as another wrote: “I wonder if Jean mentioning Stacey potentially having a bipolar episode is a hint for how she’ll leave. Though I don’t really know how long they could stretch her having it before she got help.”

During the episode, Jean also revealed Harvey was her last chance, as one worried fan, who believed she may be on her way out penned: “Harvey is not your last chance Jean… PLS… #Eastenders/ if they let Jean leave with Stacey…”
It was recently revealed that Lacey Turner would be leaving the soap for an extended period. The star has recently been on maternity leave, but has made several appearances for the tragic 40th anniversary episodes, which saw the death of Stacey’s on-off love interest Martin Fowler.
Lacey recently confirmed her exit as she said it was time for “myself and Stacey to take a rest”. Teasing her break from Walford, Lacey said whatever Stacey gets up to “it will never be boring”.
Stacey has been in a bad way since Martin died, and spoilers next week show Kat and Lily become worried and wonder if she needs professional help.
Many fans believe this is the way she’d be leaving Albert Square, but will Jean be leaving with her?
