Lewis Barton’s father is Cain.
Another kid for Cain?
Anew Emmerdale fan theory has suggested that Lewis Barton could be about to meet his dad in the village – and we know him already.
Lewis first made an appearance last night (Thursday, May 15), and soon started asking Ross Barton questions about his family.
Lewis wanted to know if they had the same dad, with Ross telling him that they didn’t.
Lewis Barton’s arrival into Emmerdale
Upon meeting Ross, Lewis started telling his half-brother lots about himself, including his rather unique love of foraging wild mushrooms. We’re not sure Ross will be joining him in the activity anytime soon though…
Lewis then started asking about his other siblings, breathing an awkward sigh of relief when he found out that Finn’s heart attack wasn’t hereditary.
But when it came to Emma Barton, Ross didn’t want to spill the beans, protecting his ‘Auntie M.’
He did make sure to tell Lewis that Emma was not saint, however. That’s putting it lightly…
When Lewis asked about his dad, Ross explained that he didn’t know who Lewis’ dad was. Emma must’ve met him in the years she was estranged from James…
Emmerdale fan theory predicts Lewis Barton’s dad is Cain Dingle
With neither Ross or Lewis knowing who Lewis’ biological father is, a new fan theory has tried to solve the question.
And, they think that Cain slept with Emma many years ago, and is Lewis’ dad as a result.
The theory on X suggests: “Is Lewis another spawn child from Cain?”
If this theory was true, it would definitely make things complicated considering that Cain’s wife Moira was the one to kill Lewis’ mum Emma…
But, who is Lewis’ dad? Do we know him? Will we ever meet him?
