Emmerdale star Bradley Johnson declares love in ‘6 months’ milestone post

Emmerdale star Bradley Johnson declared love for his son Albie as he celebrated his “little man” turning 6 months in a heartfelt Instagram tribute.
Actor Bradley joined the ITV soap in 2019 to take on the role of Vinny Dingle as he returned with mum Mandy Dingle. However, recently Vinny learned that Mandy isn’t his biological mother and she adopted him from her cousin Tina Dingle who didn’t want to raise him.
He’s also had his fair share of difficulties in the romance department since he first started dating Liv Flaherty in 2020 after they met during lockdown.
Unfortunately, things took a dark turn after Liv was k.i.l.l.e.d off in 2022 to celebrate Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary.
Since then, Vinny has struck up a relationship with Gabby Thomas after years of being close friends. Previously speaking to Inside Soap, Gabby Thomas actress, Rosie Bentham, said: “I think Gabby needs Vinny even just as a mate. Vinny would be good for Gabby, but it’d come down to whether she’s willing to change herself.”
However, things for Gabby and Vinny have hardly been plain sailing as Vinny decided to confide in Mandy about his worries after Gabby put her trust in him by giving him more responsibility when it comes to looking after her son Thomas.
After coaxing the truth out of him, Vinny told Mandy: “Sometimes I feel like I can’t trust myself,” Vinny explains. “To tell him off without losing it. I don’t want to be like my dad. You don’t understand, mum – I can see the fear in his eyes every time I shout at him.”
Vinny’s father was Paul Ashdale, a gambling addict who repeatedly attacked Vinny in a violent manner. The abusive storyline ended in 2021 after Paul’s death.
Later on, Vinny calmed down after his spiral and Gabby asked him to propose to her properly. After he knelt down on one knee she accepted his offer.
Taking to his Instagram, Bradley posted a carousel of his son Albie whom he shares with fiancé Sammie Johnstone. Bradley shared an adorable video of Albie being handed a wooden cloud with “Six months” engraved on to the front of it.
The following images were of Albie holding said cloud, as Bradley wrote: “6 months of Albie. How you’ve brought so much love and joy into our life! We love you so much little man”.
His Emmerdale co-stars shared their love to, as Paula Lane who left the soap recently wrote: “He’s a mini you!” and Natalie Ann Jamieson whose character Amy Wyatt d.i.e.d in the limo crash added: “Love this guy”.
Newcomer Shebz Miah who plays Kammy is currently befriending Vinny on-screen, and the actor commented: “It’s the cheeks for me”.
