Breakups, proposals, and a karaoke-fuelled feud – it’s another explosive week in EastEnders!

Tensions reach a breaking point between Lauren and Peter as their relationship spirals. With heartbreak brewing and custody threats looming, Lauren contemplates turning to the bottle.

Meanwhile, Cindy and Elaine’s rivalry reaches boiling point as they go head-to-head, with George caught in the middle.

Kat and Alfie dive headfirst into their limo venture, and a shock proposal is on the horizon.

Here’s a first look at what next week has to offer.

Monday June 2

Harvey has his heart set on a new business venture and attempts to buy a limo from an old friend, Cheeky,  but Kathy gives him a reality check when she admits she doesn’t have enough money to pay for it. Kat gets wind of Harvey’s idea and decides she wants it for herself. Harvey tries to suggest that he and Kat become business partners, but she turns him down and sets about creating a limo business of her own.

Tensions are high between Lauren and Peter as he continues to struggle with Jimmy’s diagnosis. Lauren is overwhelmed as she’s bombarded by well-wishers in the Square and begs Peter to join her, but he continues to dismiss her pleas.

Cindy and Kathy join forces in an attempt to help the struggling couple, but things spiral as Peter admits he blames Lauren for Jimmy’s health.

Lauren, stunned and devastated, heads to The Vic and Harry’s Barn, desperate for a drink, but is refused by both Linda and Gina, refusing to let her relapse.

George reaches out to Cindy and offers to help her plot a plan to win her family back, but Elaine’s jealousy of their relationship is clear.

Tuesday June 3

Cindy steps in to help Peter with Jimmy, as Lauren is absent, having stayed out all night.

Later, Lauren finds Peter in the café and attempts to explain herself, but Peter doesn’t want to hear it and decides to take Jimmy to his hospital appointment alone.

Honey offers support to Lauren as the two have a heart-to-heart in the café.

At the hospital, Peter has a heart-warming encounter with a fellow patient, filling him with hope for Jimmy’s future, but it’s not long until his bubble is burst as he finds out Lauren has almost relapsed. Peter breaks up with Lauren and warns her he will fight for custody of their sons.

Cindy prepares for The Albert re-launch but is saddened when George informs her that Gina and Anna won’t be in attendance.

Felix and Freddie reveal to Cindy how low ticket sales are, so the trio take to the square in an attempt to get Walford talking about the launch, but things turn sour when Cindy and Elaine get into an argument. George breaks up the conflict, but a scorned Elaine decides to host a Karaoke night the same day as the launch, much to Cindy’s dismay.

Kat and Alfie are making ground on their new limo business as Kat meets Cheeky to discuss a price for the limo. Cheeky haggles for a higher cash offer, so Kat asks Phil for an advance payment on their divorce settlement and signs a deal, but at the last minute, Cheeky reveals Kat must take on a silent business partner.

Elsewhere, Priya and Avani dismiss Barney when he tries to apologise for his behaviour. Meanwhile, Kojo takes George to view some flats with him.

Wednesday June 4

Alfie decides to stage a fake wedding shoot to promote their limo services, and later shares his desire to propose to Kat with Linda, and she encourages him to go for it.

Later, Alfie pops the question, and Kat accepts, and the two head off to the Vic to celebrate.

Kathy persuades Peter to make amends with Lauren for Jimmy’s sake, so the pair decide to put their differences aside and reconnect.

But Peter fears Lauren is hiding something and is struggling to trust her, so he heads to The Vic to ask Johnny about custody advice. Honey overhears the conversation and rushes to tell Lauren, who officially ends things with Peter.

Disaster strikes for Cindy when Felix, Freddie and the rest of her workers walk off the job when they realise Cindy hasn’t paid them. George steps in and offers to help, as does Gina when she sees how hard Cindy is working to make the re-launch a success.

Felix and Freddie head to The Vic to celebrate Cindy’s downfall with Elaine.

Elsewhere, Avani one-ups Joel as his attempts to humiliate her fall flat.

Thursday June 5

Kat and Alfie prepare to celebrate their joint stag and hen party. Kat is thrilled when Kim reveals the theme of the ‘hag’ party, but things almost go awry…

Kat’s happiness quickly vanishes when she makes a worrying discovery on the family computer and immediately presumes Alfie is to blame.

At The Vic, Elaine’s karaoke party is a flop, and she’s furious to hear Cindy’s re-launch has been a success. Elaine decides to see for herself and heads to The Albert against George’s advice. Cindy reveals how helpful George has been, even paying for additional staff to ensure her night went smoothly, and Elaine is livid. She causes a scene and storms off. George tries to reason with her, but realises it’s useless, so he heads back to Cindy.

Tommy is furious when he discovers Amy is babysitting. Joel arrives, and Amy uses the opportunity to confront him for his actions towards Avani.

Later, Joel encourages Tommy to use Alfie’s credit card to watch adult videos online.
