Tyler Perry’s House of Payne | Will Laura Tell Calvin That His Parents Threw Her Out AGAIN?!
Okay, folks.
Now, I know that in this recent episode of House of Payne, we kind of took a break from the Laura-Calvin-Ella drama — basically the main draw of the show, the drama that keeps people talking.
But next week, we are picking up right where we left off, especially with Calvin.
Because the synopsis reads: “Calvin and Laura’s relationship reaches a turning point.”
Now, I don’t know exactly what that means.
We’ll have to wait and see if there are any notable clips or promotional photos that drop in the upcoming week.
But here’s something I would like to know.
Laura goes back to the condo — will she tell Calvin about her attempt to go over there and make peace?
And yet again, Laura might give her version of the story… but not necessarily the truth.
Because if you remember, she was the one who chose to get up, say it wasn’t worth the time or effort, and leave.
My question is: will she tell Calvin,
“Calvin, I went over there to talk to your mom so we could make peace, and the next thing you know, both of your parents ganged up on me, talked to me like I was a child, and they threw me out again”?
I feel like that would probably be the case, especially based on what happened last time.
Because remember, she left the house before, went back to the condo, and told Calvin,
“Your family ganged up on me and kicked me out.”
And that’s when Miranda popped in to say,
“Uh-uh. If you’re going to tell Calvin the story, you better make sure you tell the whole story.”
The whole story.
And then, like I kept reiterating a few episodes ago…
When Ella was telling Jasmine, Curtis, and Miranda she was about to go over there — what happened?
She opened the door and Laura was standing right there.
Ella invited her in.
And what was the first thing Laura said?
“I’m actually surprised you invited me, especially after what you said last time about not wanting me to come back.”
And then Jasmine immediately corrected her, saying,
“That’s not what Auntie Ella said.”
Basically proving that Laura’s victim mentality is still in full effect.
So, I’m guessing that even though Laura chose to leave this time around, she’s still going to go back to Calvin and act like his parents were the problem.
Now, I’ve been seeing two different sides of this.
On one hand, yeah — Ella wasn’t being completely upfront and honest.
She was dodging the real question.
Laura said, “I know you and the family don’t like me.”
And Ella’s immediate response was,
“What have we done to make you feel that way?”
As opposed to just saying,
“Look, I can’t speak for the whole family. But personally, I don’t like you.”
She never said that. She avoided it.
Ella just made Laura feel like she was the one tripping.
Now, don’t get me wrong — I understand Laura’s frustration.
But I also see the point that a lot of people made:
Maybe Laura shouldn’t have gone over there alone.
Maybe Calvin should’ve gone with her.
Or maybe it should have been a one-on-one talk between Ella and Laura.
But the second Curtis came in, things changed.
He started chastising Laura like she was their child.
But here’s the thing — I can’t get over the fact that Laura came in that house being disrespectful.
Calling out Miranda, going back and forth with Ella — in her own home!
That’s not how it works.
Look, I’m not saying Laura doesn’t have valid reasons to feel like an outcast.
But there’s a time and place for everything.
And Curtis made that clear:
“This is my wife’s house. She deserves respect.”
Simple as that.
Now, things took a turn when Laura pointed out the truth — that the family doesn’t trust her.
Because right before Curtis gave his little speech, what did he say?
Ella asked, “What have we done to make you feel that way?”
And then Curtis said, “Hey Ella, I’m going over to the condo with you. I don’t trust her.”
Boom — Laura sees it. Proof in the pudding.
Then Laura asked Curtis:
“What’s your problem with me?”
He gave his answer.
The conversation was somewhat civil… until Laura raised her voice.
She’s the one who got loud. She’s the one who got irate.
And then when she felt like it was all a waste of time — she chose to leave.
No one kicked her out.
So again, it wouldn’t surprise me if she goes back to Calvin and acts like the victim.
That’s honestly how I think this will play out.
But I want to hear from you.
Do you think Laura will tell Calvin the full story?
Or will she twist it to make herself look like the victim — again?
