Emmerdale confirms Tom King attack as an arrest is made in 27 pictures
Emmerdale lines up a harrowing week for a number of residents of the eponymous village, as confirmed in my new picture gallery above.
The ITV soap has really picked up the pace over the past few months, with its biggest story of the moment seeing Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) subjected to vile abuse at the hands of dastardly Tom King (James Chase).
The unmissable dinner party offering saw the narrative reach a dramatic peak and, next week, things take another devastating turn.
Tom seizes control of yet another aspect of Belle’s life, opening a joint account. Belle, meanwhile, enjoys the company of Mandy (Lisa Riley) and Lydia (Karen Blick) at Dale Head but Tom is livid when he finds out the Dingle icons are in his home as he watches from the puppy cam, offended as they playfully tease him behind his back.
Belle is concerned when the abuser returns home and – when Mandy and Lydia have gone – he turns absolutely menacing, leaving her in serious danger.
Will Belle get the help she needs to escape the abuser?
Following a catastrophic car crash, Nicky Miligan’s (Lewis Cope) life hangs in the balance, with Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) vowing revenge on the person responsible – unaware that the person in question is right under her nose.
Ethan Anderson (Emile John) is wracked with guilt over his role in the collision and therefore he confesses all to Charles (Kevin Mathurin), asking the vicar to provide him with an alibi.
Charles, however, refrains from doing as he’s asked and instead reports his own son to the police, with Ruby left seething as she puts two and two together.
Elsherwre in the village, Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) confesses that he’s lonely, with Mandy asking Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) to spend some time with him.
Vinny enjoys Gabby’s company but ultimately he misreads the situation and tries to kiss her!
It’s going to be one truly unmissable of a week!
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, May 13 and Friday, May 17 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
