Emmerdale Cain Dingle’s exit ‘sealed’ 25 years after debut in brutal John Sugden twist
Emmerdale fans are concerned that Cain Dingle could be k.i.l.l.e.d off in upcoming scenes
Emmerdale fans believe they’ve uncovered a heartbreaking exit plot for Cain Dingle after 25 years.
Cain (Jeff Hordley) has had a tumultuous few months since his son, Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), departed the village for Shetland in September last year.
Despite numerous attempts to reach out to Nate, Cain was met with silence, sparking concern among the Dingle family.
However, it was soon revealed that Nate didn’t relocate to Scotland, but was actually k.i.l.l.e.d by John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) following last year’s barn fire.
The antagonist injected Nate with an unidentified substance under the guise of “saving” him, but the drug had a fatal reaction, leading to Nate’s untimely d.e.a.t.h, reports Belfast Live.

Eight months on from the barn fire incident, the police dredged up Nate’s body from the lake where the limousine crash occurred, with two prime suspects quickly emerging.
Initially, detectives cast a suspicious eye on Cain due to a heated argument with Nate on his last day in the village.
However, suspicion soon shifted to Tracy (Amy Walsh) after John planted Nate’s phone in her daughter Frankie’s (Eden Ratcliffe-Knights) playhouse.
The situation took a grim turn when Tracy was arrested on suspicion of m.u.r.d.e.r last week, after her sister, Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), failed to provide Tracy with an alibi for the night Nate d.i.e.d.
During Thursday’s (June 19) hour-long episode, Cain asked Tracy about funeral arrangements for Nate, but she insisted she could only afford a “bog-standard” cremation. Still believing Cain k.i.l.l.e.d her husband, Tracy also said that her father-in-law wasn’t welcome at the send-off.

Later on, Sam Dingle (James Hooton) handed Cain a bottle of strong liquor that their late father, Zak (Steve Halliwell), had brewed before his passing.
John then spotted an intoxicated Cain staggering around the village and quickly marked him as his next target.
He escorted Cain home and urged him to drink heavily until he collapsed in a dangerous state. John then swiftly “rescued” him just as Moira (Natalie J Robb) entered the room.
John explained to Moira that he brought Cain home to look after him, before the ITV veteran secretly polished off a whole bottle of scotch when John was in the toilet.
“To think what could of happened if you hadn’t of been here, John. You saved him… You’re a hero, and a real-life one at that. Thank you,” said a relieved Moira, oblivious to John’s actual involvement.

In Friday’s (June 20) episode, now available on ITVX, Cain took a day off work to recuperate, only to later discover his granddaughter Sarah Sugden’s (Katie Hill) cervical cancer diagnosis.
Now, several Emmerdale viewers are speculating that Cain might d.i.e from delayed alcohol poisoning in upcoming scenes.
“Cain better not get k.i.l.l.e.d off,” one person wrote on Instagram, with another adding: “Cain better not d.i.e.”
A third said, “Have a feeling Cain could d.i.e of alcohol poisoning soon. He’ll recover and then get some delayed effect,” while another similarly shared, “This is not looking good for Cain.”
Meanwhile, a fifth viewer suggested: “I’m not sure whether Cain is onto John and he acted drunk, so he could see what John would do, maybe?”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and is available to stream from 7am on ITVX
