Emmerdale spoilers: Seething Kim vows to get rid of an enemy as she makes confession to Lydia
Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) is hanging around like a bad smell at Home Farm in Emmerdale.
Rose arrived a few weeks ago and was introduced as Dawn Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) estranged mother. At first, Dawn wanted nothing to do with Rose, who left Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) to bring up Dawn all alone when she was younger.
After being initially hostile to the idea of getting to know her mum, Dawn has started to let Rose into her life – but it’s a slow process.
Following little Evan’s leukaemia diagnosis, Dawn and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) are spending a lot of time at the hospital, which has left the likes of Kim Tate (Claire King), Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) and Will to look after Clemmie and Lucas more.
Recently, Dawn spoke to Clemmie and Lucas on the phone and was supported by Lydia and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham).
Rose tried to join in on the conversation, but Dawn was reluctant to express the same amount of gratitude towards her mum as her Home Farm family.
In tonight’s episode of the ITV soap, Rose was looking for something to pass the time as she waited for a delivery.
She chose to put on her headphones, crack open some booze and attempt to clean but it obviously annoyed Lydia – the actual cleaner.
After Kim stopped them from clashing even more, she later apologised to Lydia for snapping.
She admitted to her friend that if she had things her way, Rose would’ve left Home Farm ‘on the toe of [her] boot’, but has chosen to not intervene because Dawn might need her.
It’s a bold and unexpected move from Kim, who has accepted she needs to try and put up with Rose for Dawn’s sake.
But how long can she keep a lid on her frustration before something happens?
