ITV Emmerdale hints at second death after horror car crash leaves Nicky Milligan in a coma

Emmerdale have hinted at a second death on the ITV soap after Nicky Milligan was rushed to hospital following a horror car crash

Emmerdale fans have teased a shocking second death following Nicky Milligan’s car crash.

During tonight’s episode of the ITV soap, Caleb and Ruby kept a vigil at their son’s bedside after he was rushed to hospital following a horror car crash. We know Ethan was driving the car, and left Nicky for dead – but that is a fact the other residents don’t know yet.

In a shocking turn of events, Ethan ran away from the car and is keeping a huge secret from everyone in the village that he is responsible for what happened to Nicky. At the end of tonight’s episode, Caleb and Ruby were approached by a police officer, and immediately assumed the worst, convinced that Nicky was going to be arrested for the crash.

“Jumping the gun a bit aren’t you? We don’t know he’s going to wake up yet,” Caleb said as the officer arrived. Ruby was immediately apologetic, sharing: “We know he had alcohol in his system. It’s not like him, he’d never drink and drive. We taught him better than that.” However, the police officer looked confused by all that was going on.

“Sorry, your son wasn’t driving the vehicle. The bruising on his chest and shoulder was consistent with an airbag impact from the passenger side,” he said, leaving the two completely shocked.

Stunned, Ruby said: “Well if he wasn’t driving who was? Whoever it is left him for dead – who would do that?” whilst Caleb added: “Whoever it is, when I find them, they’re gonna wish they died in that accident.”

Next week on the ITV soap, Ethan will be arrested for his part in the crash. Speaking about Charles’ decision, Kevin Mathurin – who plays the vicar – shared: “There’s always that battle between ‘Charles the vicar’ and ‘Charles the man and father’. He wants to do right by his son, obviously. But righteously, the right thing is to own up and face the consequences. Charles will support Ethan no matter what happens. You can’t take your own wheel, sometimes you’ve got to hand God the wheel and see what happens. I think every parent will understand what Charles is going through, or it’ll be a debate on ‘what I’d do as a parent.'”
