Emmerdale fans spot unlikely ‘love triangle’ as Suzy and Mary chemistry heats up
Emmerdale fans are speculating another love triangle in the famous Yorkshire village as they seem to think romance is on the cards for Suzy and Mary despite Vanessa's return
Emmerdale fans have been left divided as they believe there could soon be a possible love triangle involving Mary, Suzy and Vanessa.
Mary and Suzy’s friendship appeared to have blossomed in the last few weeks with fans noticing that there may be something more to their relationship. On Wednesday night’s visit to Emmerdale, the pair bumped into each other at the pub with Suzy admitting that she wanted to contact Mary regarding her recent struggles with her daughter, Rhona.
As Mary looked longingly at Vanessa, the pair were interrupted by Vanessa, who desperately wanted to speak to Suzy. But Suzy wasn’t best pleased with Vanssa’s unexpected outburst which led fans to believe that something could soon take place amongst the three women.
Heading over to X formerly known as Twitter, fans shared their thoughts. One viewer said: “I hate this love triangle already and it hasn’t even properly started.
A third chimed: “Suzy and Vanessa, tag teaming Mary!” While a fourth asked: “Does anyone ship Suzy and Vanessa? (they personally bore me. I feel like there’s more interesting storylines they could have given Vanessa than a triangle with Suzy/Mary.”
Last year November Suzy and Vanessa called time on their relationship. Before their breakup, Vanessa was filled with panic when she realised that her girlfriend Suzy had not come home, which led her to believe Suzy had returned to her past of substance abuse.
Seeing Suzy with Leyla, Vanessa was convinced that the pair were still continuing their cocaine addiction. But Vanessa was left red-faced when Leyla proved that they were both sober, and Suzy was exasperated with Vanessa’s continuous paranoia.
Later on, Vanessa and Suzy exchanged words which made them both realise that their romance had come to an end. Suzy told Vanessa at the time: “There’s never been any trust and no amount of snowy mountains in the world is gonna change that.”
Emotional, Vanssa was left crying over the split. Suzy then added: “We’ll only end up hating each other and I don’t want that.”
